ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION
Established in 1854, Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Los Angeles is a multi-service agency whose goals are to strengthen and preserve individual, family, and community life by providing a wide range of human services to people in the community at every stage of the life cycle, especially those who are poor and disadvantaged.
GRANT PURPOSE
LIFE @ Home (Living, Inspired, Fit, and Engaged) supports greater connectivity between homebound Holocaust survivors and the wider community through the use of cutting-edge technology to access a blend of supportive services, including social, educational, and holiday programs, improving quality of life and enabling them to age-in-place with dignity and grace.
