ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Founded in 2004, Jewish World Watch works to end genocide and mass atrocities worldwide by educating and mobilizing individuals, advocating for policy changes, and funding projects that support and build resilience in conflict-affected communities.

GRANT PURPOSE

Build the capacity of the Jewish World Watch organization to raise awareness and engage the Los Angeles Jewish community in efforts to stop the genocide and improve conditions in Darfur.

The generosity of the Jewish Community Foundation to Jewish World Watch makes a powerful statement on behalf of the entire LA Jewish community. We have a responsibility as Jews never to stand idly by as innocents are slaughtered.
