BIO

The Foundation looks for opportunities to make an effective charitable impact and focuses on being a leader in its space. I am especially proud of being a part of the evolution of The Foundation’s Center for Designed Philanthropy to provide even greater customized services to donors.

Abby L.T. Feinman is a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and serves as head of the Los Angeles Trusts and Estates Practice. Ms. Feinman’s broad, national practice centers around private client matters focusing on sophisticated tax planning for individuals, charitable planning, post death administration and controversies concerning trusts and estates. Ms. Feinman is a Foundation trustee and currently serves as co-chair of the Center for Designed Philanthropy Committee, as well as co-chair of the Professional Advisor Speaker Series Planning Committee. Ms. Feinman is active in the community and devotes significant time to Cedars Sinai Medical Center where she serves as a member of the Executive Cabinet to the Board of Governors and chairs the Young Governors Section of the Board. She continues to be listed as a Southern California Super Lawyer in Estate Planning and Trusts in Los Angeles Magazine and Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine (2006-2012). She is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2010-2012). Ms. Feinman is a frequent lecturer on a variety of legal topics. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. She lives in Brentwood with her husband, Mitch, and their two children.
